The rules for using CacaoTracker, in plain English
Last updated: July 19, 2026
CacaoTracker is a free, community-built analytics tool for the Maya Protocol. By using the website, the API, or the MCP server, you accept these terms. They are short and written to be read: the essence is that we show you public blockchain data as accurately as we can, but the numbers are estimates, the service comes with no guarantees, and what you do with the information is your responsibility.
CacaoTracker provides a dashboard, a public API, and an MCP server that index and present Maya Protocol blockchain data: liquidity positions, rewards, bonds, swaps, pool analytics, network health, and ecosystem reports. The underlying data comes from public sources — Midgard, Maya Protocol nodes, and market price providers such as CoinGecko. We index this data; we don't create it, and we don't custody funds, execute transactions, or hold your keys.
Nothing on CacaoTracker is financial, investment, or tax advice.
Position values, APY figures, impermanent loss, projected rewards, ecosystem reports, and tax-related previews are informational estimates. They can differ from what you would actually receive — for example due to network fees, slippage, or price movements. Verify anything important independently before acting on it, and talk to a qualified professional for tax or investment decisions.
The service is provided as-is. We work to keep the data correct and the site online, but we can't guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uptime: we depend on third-party data sources that can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and CacaoTracker is a donation-funded community project, not a commercial product with a service agreement. Features may change, break, or be discontinued.
Managed accounts work with an access link and a password — no email, no name. That privacy comes with a trade-off: there is no self-service recovery. If you lose your access link or password, treat them like a seed phrase — gone is gone unless an administrator can help. Keep them safe, don't share them, and understand that anything done through your account is your responsibility.
API keys are free. To keep the API available for everyone, every key is subject to burst rate limits and a monthly request quota, and keys are scoped to the domains, IP addresses, or app identifiers you configure. Development keys work from localhost only. Production keys are reviewed before approval and can be rejected or revoked — provide honest information about your project when you request one.
Don't share your keys, don't use multiple keys or accounts to circumvent limits, and don't hammer the public endpoints to avoid needing a key.
Don't attempt to disrupt or overload the service, probe or bypass its access controls, evade rate limits, or use it for anything unlawful. If an account or API key abuses the service, we may throttle it, revoke keys, or suspend the account — that's how we keep a free service running for everyone else.
Donations are voluntary and buy nothing: no features, no support entitlement, no service guarantees. They help cover the cost of running the service and are non-refundable.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that result from using the service or relying on the data it shows — including financial decisions based on displayed positions, prices, estimates, or reports, and including periods when the service is unavailable or shows incorrect data. You use CacaoTracker at your own risk.
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
